CANA offers a convenient meeting place for Catholics and friends. It is in the arts and civic district of the city along Waterloo Street close to the Cathedral and the Church of Sts Peter and Paul. Among our neighbours are the Maghain Aboth Synagogue, the Kuan Yin Temple, the Sri Krishna Temple and Masjid Bencoolen – so we are in very good company indeed!

OUR HOPE

CANA has no great agenda or mission or vision – we only hope that we can show the face of God to those who enter our doors through friendship and hospitality.  We aim to show the face of God too in whatever way we feel called to and so far it as been through music, dance, films, art, photography, talks, books and now comedy!!

OUR BEGINNING

A staple initiative of CANA is PIMBY (Pilgrimage In My Back Yard).  Four pilgrimage walks were designed in the Year of Faith (2013) with the aim of helping Catholics appreciate the roots of Catholicism when it first came to Singapore.  The walks focus on personalities who brought the faith to our shores and those who worked tirelessly to spread it.  Looming largely are the MEP priests whose missionary spirit was unparalleled and who brought to us our Catholic education.  The four walks are PIMBY Central, PIMBY Kampong Bahru, PIMBY Aukang and PIMBY Upper Bukit Timah.
